Athena is her name and she sure lives up to the meaning of being wise! She is a talented, gorgeous, 16.3, 12 years- old Palomino (can be registered) Can go Western and English. Has done barrels, trails, and worked cows. Has had training with Brandi Lyons. She was my 4-H horse for 3 years. Very nice mare, loves attention, bathes, loads, trailers easily, ties forever, cross-ties too! Great movement with nice extension and is very collected. We have worked together so that she is very flexible off of her shoulders and hips. Responsive to rein and leg cues. I haven't done jumping as I like to work cows and run barrels, but she has free jumped 3 feet. Comfortable in the show environment Not spooky or barn sour. An all around nice mare that is best for an experienced youth or an adult rider, as she is well trained. Doc's Wrangler Genes is for sale. 2000 AQHA #4030042 16HH sorrel gelding, blaze face , 2 hind socks, darker tail, light stripe, very handsome horse. Very classy mover, doesnt seem to want to run barrels, but can. I am a barrel racer and would love to see Jr find the right home or him. He has a outgoing personality, likes people, He can be very insecure at the trailer , but is ok with a calm buddy. When he has a job he is really a pleaser. Knows all the groundwork, and has been hauled and won reserve all around at the Grant County Horse show. Has been shown english and Western and has been jumped over 1 to 2 foot jumps, I don't show english much but he has the movement! He is a cribber but is easily managed with a muzzle, and I have had kids who could ride, exersize him, and warm him up for me.Turns out slightly on his front end but he's a beautiful cadillac to ride !Asking $6,500. Sky is a 16 hand APHA gelding. He has a puppy dog personality, but does have some speed. So, not really for beginners. I have 5 horses and 2 riders and he deserves more. He is bright and willing and very responsive. Has had training in both Western and English. I was told he was broke to heel, has done arena work and he has been on trails. Easy for farrier, bathes, loads, doesn't mind clippers, although he has a pretty fine coat. "Riding him, my daughter won Maricopa County Finals High Point in English 2004 as a 9 yr old. She also won the year end buckle in Scottsdale Saddle Club in English in 2004 riding this horse.(3 gaited classes, not walk/trot). Floating trot, collects beautifully, smooth lope, leads, excellent competitor in trail course, needs to be exercised prior to show or can be a handful, very loved, but being outgrown by daughters (my 12 year old is already 5'9"), has always been sound, reliable horse for my 8 year old to play on, she rides him loping through our pasture with only a halter, El Paso grandson!!!, Good youth horse and controlled easily by my 8 year old...even when she was 6 and 7 yrs old...but does need a strong youth rider. Allows double riding and all the games little girls play on horses, they jump small jumps too.
