Dear barrel racers Last season was a interesting barrel season here in AZ as a producer I always try to make all my races the highest caliber races in the west so far I think I have accomplished that with getting great support from the best sponsors out there and making the cover of three very large barrel racing publications I work very hard for the barrel racers but here in AZ we still have some producers that insist on booking there races on other races in town it has already happing again this year look back and you be the judge? What producers have had these dates for the past 4 years I know I have gone to Dunns for New Years for 4 years straight now And The FiFi Von goofbaum Thanksgiving Barrel race for 5 years so With this happing it makes the barrel racer have to choose where they want to run it is taking money out of your pockets as the entries are cut in half and if you want to run both races you are then paying 2 entries fees for less money FACT= If producers would work together and not have 2 races on the same weekend less than 25 miles apart and everybody at one race instead 150 at each race there would 300 at one race a lot more money in the pot and one entry fee less fuel than trying to get to both races ...
